About Me

Hi!  I’m Brianna-Marie.  Welcome to Undaunted Endeavors!

You have just stumbled on to a site that marks the beginning of an endeavor to conquer one of the most daunting challenges I have ever presented to myself: To somehow break away from what most people know to be the “traditional life”, and instead, live a unique and unconventional life that most people only dream of.

What does that life consist of exactly?  Well, it encompasses many things, but traveling the world is definitely one of the major focal points!  You’ll just have to stick around to find out the rest. 😉

So why not come along with me, and see the world through my eyes?

I wanted to participate in this challenge because I have been very inconsistent with working out lately and I KNOW I can be so much stronger than I am. Plus, the prizes to be won are amazinggg!!
🏋🏻‍♀️
Let’s have some fun with this shall we?

While New Years Day was over 5 months ago now, I r While New Years Day was over 5 months ago now, I really do feel that in many ways, the new year is just beginning right about now. And I have some things I want to say regarding the past year and how I believe we should strive to move forward as human beings.

P.S. I made this video a couple months ago now, so some things in here may or may not apply anymore, but my overall sentiment is still valid.

tldw: Not everything is black and white. In fact, most things aren’t. And there are usually two sides to every story. For subjective matters, all of us are usually simultaneously both right AND wrong.

As human beings, we should strive to be kinder, and more open-minded/accepting of other people’s opinions, especially when expressed in a decent manner. We are all human beings with different life experiences that have shaped who we are, and we should be respectful towards the fact that not everyone’s journey will align with and/or be just like ours.

Also, I choose happiness and love over suffering and evil... at least in the vast majority of situations. So if that means that sometimes my views don’t align with yours because you want people to be happy and loving in the way that suits you and your ideology... Well, then we might have to agree to disagree.

Hello Instagram! It has been a while. Nearly thre Hello Instagram!
It has been a while. Nearly three months since I last posted. Not gonna lie, when my favorite band took a break from social media at the beginning of the year, I pretty much also did. Even now, a couple months later, sometimes entire days will go by, and I’ll realize that I haven’t checked anything. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of you don’t even see this because Insta’s algorithm will probably be reluctant to share this with most of you, due to my inactivity, but 🤷🏻‍♀️. Everyone’s talking about the corona virus and quarantining these days. Some are thriving in this introvert’s fantasy, however, some of you are losing your minds for various reasons and are suffering from boredom.

Unlike a good portion of the rest of MA, it has been decided that I am “essential personnel” in my workplace, so I have been going into work everyday. So while I am not totally quarantining, I recently remembered that at this same time last year, I very much so was quarantined: To a mattress on my parent’s living room floor, for 2 months (recovering from knee surgery). Granted, sometimes I moved from the floor to the dining room table, and when it was shower time, I would maneuver myself onto the shower bench in my parent’s master bathroom and bathe myself. And I did have to attend physical therapy 2-3 times a week for an hour. But a VERY good portion of those 9 weeks was spent on that mattress (NEVER with the TV on, by the way). I was definitely a thriver. It takes a lot for me to get bored. It was actually exciting for me to have all the time in the world to do things that I don’t normally have as much time to do because of work, like: reading, writing, singing, listening to music, revisiting some college classwork, and brushing up on some French! I was anything but bored during those 2 months, and was kinda disappointed when the time came to go back to work. But c’est la vie.

I encourage those of you who are quarantining and/or bored to think of this time as a gift that will definitely not last forever. Make the most of it! Try new things. Spend some quality time with loved ones. Enjoy yourself. #undauntedendeavors

And our dogs could use more of that time too!
Unfortunately, there are many dogs out there right now who don’t have much more time. 😢
But LEAH Labs is trying to change that.

My next blog post, coming out within the week, will be all about how LEAH Labs plans to use CAR-T cell therapy to cure B-cell Lymphoma (the naturally occurring model of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma) in dogs.
